Antique Woods Areca Nut Tooth Paste white ironstone pot

An antique white ironstone pot lid, decorated with a black underglaze transfer for Woods cherry tooth paste - 'For removing tartar and whitening the teeth without damaging the enamel'. Produced for W. Woods of Plymouth in the 6d size, and matched with a white ironstone base for display.

Condition:
There are 2 miniscule flea bites on the underside of the flange, but these are almost unnoticeable. Otherwise there is some light staining and wear marks but no damage. The base has some staining and crazing, along with a miniscule fleabite on the rim, but this cannot be seen when lidded.
