Victorian Parian ware jug - John Rose & Co. Coalport.

A Victorian Coalport parian ware jug, modelled with a classical relief design of clam shells and water lilies, with the naturalistic motif continuing onto the handle which is modelled after a branch. The underside bears the Victorian Kite mark for 26th Feb, 1849,  parcel 2 - John Rose & Co. Coalport. A very nice example in perfect condition.

Superb condition with no damage and light age related wear. There is an old price in pencil on the underside of 3/6(d).
