Antique Thames boat license enamel plaque - 1929

An antique Thames boat license oval enamel plaque, with bold black typography on a white ground and pinstripe border.
 
Produced for vessels in operation in 1929, the Thames Conservancy granted the registration to be 'available until 31st December'.
Dimensions:
11.7cm x 8.5cm
Condition: In nice clean condition with some nibbling to the enamel around the edge, particularly on the right (facing) side, along with some rusty wear on the back side. A nice example with strong lettering.
