Antique ironstone barrel shaped Reis storage jar - blue floral transfer

An antique German ironstone kitchen storage jar, modelled in a barrel shape and decorated with black gothic ‘Reis’ lettering, along with blue floral bands around the rim and the foot.

Condition:
There is a stable crack which runs down the face of the pot, along with another smaller hairline on the rim on the backside, this is reflected on the price. There are some age related wear marks and small stain spots and scuffs around the rim, but overall it still displays nicely.
