Parnall and Sons antique white ironstone ham stand
An early 20thC white ironstone ham stand, decorated on one end with a crisp strike of the trapezoid Fishponds black transfer for Parnall and Sons Ltd.
These large & chunky white ironstone stands were used by Edwardian butchers to display and carve a large ham or leg of bone in meat, hence the name ham stand. They now make for great antique display pieces, candlesticks, platter stands, centrepieces etc.

Condition:
In perfect condition with no damage. There is some light glaze crazing and wear, but otherwise it is very clean.
