Antique Belgian stoneware L’Imperiale Moutarde jar

A vintage Belgian stoneware L’Imperial Moutarde pot, modelled in a barrel shape with moulded bands that have been embellished in light blue. The face of the pot is decorated with the company’s diamond trademark, along with bold arched ‘Moutarde’ typography.
Dimensions:
12.3cm rim diameter
13cm approx belly diameter
15.8cm tall
Condition:
Glaze wear and firing faults around the rim, including a small firing crack in the rim from manufacture. The middle of the underside of the pot has a chip in the surface, but it doesn’t go through. Otherwise there is age related wear and marks, but no significant damage.
