A rare antique white ironstone 1 pint measure tankard, modelled with an angular applied handle and decorated with blue underglaze transfer advertising on one side, and a large & impressive Royal Warrant on the other.
Produced for Aylesbury Dairy Company Limited, the belted advertising roundal includes their Chief Office address of St. Peterburgh Place, Bayswater.

Condition:
Original as found condition, with one chip on the rim and one crack. There is some staining and wear commensurate with age, but it is a rare survivor and displays beautifully.
