Frank Cooper Oxford Marmalade pot with lid

An antique 1lb ‘chubby’ marmalade jar from Frank Cooper, Oxford. 
The front face of the pot is decorated with an underglaze black transfer for the brand that is less commonly offered, which features the fine decorative border and slender typography.
The pot is complete with a well fitting original ironstone lid, which is decorated on the underside with the royal appointment warrant and arched lettering.

Condition:
Neither the pot nor the lid have any damage, just some crazing, staining and light wear. The pot has some greyish staining on the back side, but overall a very nice condition example with the rare ironstone lid.
