Antique ironstone Duncan Flockhart pharmacy pot base - #3

A Victorian ointment pot base, made of white ironstone pottery and decorated around the face with cross shaded black transfer typography advertising Duncan, Flockhart & Co. of Edinburgh. Produced by TooGood of London, with their patent mark on the underside of the notched foot.

Condition:
There are a two small firing imperfections on the rim, but these appear to be manufacturing faults rather than damage. The foot has two bruise cracks, and a further small chip beneath the foot, but these are minor and do not detract when on display. Otherwise the pot has some attractive age related staining, glaze crazing and wear.
