Antique Calvert’s Carbolic Tooth Paste white ironstone pot

An Edwardian white ironstone toothpaste pot lid, beautifully decorated with a black underglaze transfer for Calvert’s Carbolic Tooth Paste. A small size pot lid and base that was priced at Sixpence, the bold arched typography is bordered by a repeating floral motif in double pinstripes, along with the company’s trademark arrow roundel in the middle.

Condition:
There are 4 flea bites on the flange of the lid, but otherwise it is in nice, clean condition with very light wear and crazing. The base has some chips on the inner rim and shoulder, but overall it still displays nicely.
