A rare piece of antique English advertising with a lovely large black transfer, the middle of which shows the pictorial trademark roundel with two standard bearing servicemen shaking hands.

Condition:
The lid has 4 small scrapes on the underside of the flange, but these are shallow and quite insignificant. Otherwise it is in nice, clean condition with light wear and glaze crazing.
The matched base has a small chip on the rim, one under the foot and a small stable hairline in the foot, although this blends into the glaze crazing and wear, and it still displays nicely.
