Antique rectangular Coralline Tooth Paste white ironstone pot

A rare antique rectangular pot lid for 'Imperial Coralline Tooth Paste'. Made of white ironstone pottery, the surface of the lid is decorated with stylised black advertising typography from Roberts & Co. Chemists, which includes their Parisian and London addresses, along with a central belted trademark and gilt band border. A scarce lid in original, honest condition, it is matched with a rectangular ironstone base for display.

3.7cm tall when lidded.
 
Condition:
In original 'as found' condition with a fine hairline in the middle of the top edge, but otherwise quite clean and displays very nicely. The base has some staining and crazing, along with a chip on the inner rim, but this cannot be seen when lidded.
