Antique ironstone cream pail - Medium size 27cm tall
An Edwardian dairy pail, made of white ironstone pottery with applied moulded handles and stylised black under-glaze 'Cream' lettering to the front face. The medium of the three known sizes to be produced in this design, this is a completely original 'as found' example with no repairs or restoration.

Condition:
Four rim hairlines, along with one tiny firing crack/fault on the foot. Age related staining, crazing and wear is also present, but it still displays very nicely.
