Antique French cast iron tongue press - Titan Meat Press

A small antique French cast iron meat or tongue press, with two ridged plates secured by a wing nut on a threaded bar. An interesting little but substantial piece of early 20thC European kitchenalia, with the base casting including four little sweeping feet, the top half bearing the relief cast trademark name: Titan a Vis Presse-Viande - “Titan Meat Press”.
