French white ironstone divided bowl - Digoin & Sarreguemines
An unusual antique white ironstone banded butter bowl, divided with a partition down the middle. Moulded with a tapering edge and pronounced bands, along with applied classical scrolling handles on each side. The underside bears the black maker's mark for French manufacturer Digoin & Sarreguemines.

Condition:
There is a fine hairline on the rim, along with a small scrape, but these do not overly detract and blend into the crazing and wear.
There is also a tiny scrape on the foot, along with crazing, staining and age related wear.
